Strategic Planning
Overview
This one day program shows participants how to make strategic planning an
easier and more productive process. Participants learn a fresh approach to
Strategic Planning by blending classic decision making tools with innovative
thinking tools which generate new, practical ideas. This inclusive process
creates buy-in from stakeholders and unconvinced audiences because it
focuses on all stakeholders’ needs.
At the end of the program, each person has a solid draft of a Strategic
Plan that they can work from back in their office.

Results
Participants will:
- Increase their skill level for composing and mastering Strategic
Planning
- Compose a draft of a real-life Strategic Plan for themselves, their
team,
department, or company
- Learn a unique blend of decision-making tools
- Complete the program with an inspiring, working draft of a strategic

Customization
Customization is especially recommended for intact work groups and
optional for independent participants. I meet with the
senior manager and we discuss the business’ needs, the manager’s
visions, and the manager’s expectations for the program 2. I create a new
design that blends the manager’s goals with the off-the-shelf material.
Recommendations
- Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops to the program
Facilitation Approach
I use the “Blue Wall” approach to facilitation which supports the idea:
“People
support what they help create.” This method encourages:
-- A strong sense of ownership
-- Engaging participation from everyone
-- Participants to use their work experience to create visions and
solutions
